The Joomla-based OpenVCE.net site is now frozen, and a Drupal-based portal is in use at http://openvce.net
The VCE region on the Second Life Grid is being developed. Experimental developments will take place over the next few weeks. The OpenVCE project will work with Clever Zebra and their open source assets are to be developed as part of this phase of the project. VCE-1 on the region is anticipated by the end of July 2009.

The VCE region on the Second Life Grid is being developed. An outline design has been produced to assist in discussons between the OpenVCE team at AIAI, University of Edinburgh and Clever Zebra, who are assisting with the 3D assets and design of the VCE region.

Events begin to be held in OpenVCE Facilities

The first meetings and events using OpenVCE facilities have now started. The openvce.net facilities include a mixture of a web site with social networking facilities for the communities supported, along with link to virtual works meeeting and collaboration areas.
