Testing of Second Life Link to Joomla Nears Completion
Testing of the Joomla slcontact_xt component to provide a bridge between Joomla web and Second Life has been successful in refining the module in a number of tests with its author. It is possible to set up friends/contacts lists, see their status, and instant message them via a Joomla page. An in-world avatar can wear an optional postion reporting attachment to report on current position to Joomla, and allow for in-world addition of friends or contact nearby.
