Bugs and Reporting Issues

Abuse on the web site should be reported to abuse@openvce.net

Problems and issues in using OpenVCE.net should be reported to bugs@openvce.net

If bugs are identified in the systems and platforms in use on OpenVCE.net they are reported to the originators or communities providing the software or services.

Known issues are:

[1-Jul-2009] When a page is displayed the hyperlinks that show when the mouse if hovered over the Edit, Reply and other links underneath the page contents are slightly to the right of where the mouse is physically placed.  They can be selected by going to the extreme left of the relevant link.  But it is easy to select the wron

The University of Edinburgh School of Informatics Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute (AIAI) owns and is responsible for the content of the website at http://openvce.net and associated services. Unless stated otherwise, this Privacy Statement applies only to this website.

AIAI will use any personal information collected from this website in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. AIAI has taken appropriate measures to keep secure and personal information given by users of this site.

1.3 What information do we collect and why?
The information collected on this site includes:

1.3.1 User's IP address, which is automatically logged by our web server. This information may be used to observe users' interest in this website (number of visits, etc).

1.3.2 Cookies, which are very small text files saved to your computer used to track user navigation around a website. In particular they are essential to enable single sign on between the main web site and the wiki. They are not cross-referenced with any other information such that an individual person could be identified.

1.3.3 E-mail addresses and/or other contact details which users voluntarily provide in order to:
a) receive information from AIAI and/or recognised agents of the University of Edinburgh
b) register for sending of publications/newsletters, offering services, and information related to events.

1.5 Chatrooms and Forums
Users are reminded that chat rooms and forums are for public or sub-group discussion. Any personal information supplied by users during these discussions is widely accessible. AIAI is not responsible for the content posted by users of these services.
